This Privacy Notice provides information concerning Asia Supermarket’s data practices and the choices you have concerning the personal information Asia Supermarket collects, uses, and discloses. This Privacy Notice applies when you access or use AsiaSupermarket.net, including mobile-optimized websites and mobile applications that link to this Privacy Notice, when you become a Smart Savings Cardmember, shop at our stores, use our H Fresh direct delivery service, contact our customer service teams, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Notice does not apply to any services or other websites that state that they are subject to a different privacy or data policy. This Privacy Notice also does not apply to Asia Supermarket’s processing of employee data.

Asia Supermarket collects data directly from you and third parties, which may include your name and contact information. We may also collect analytics and other useful information based on your interaction with our Services. Asia Supermarket uses the information we collect to operate our business and website, communicate with you, promote our events, products, and services, and comply with laws, rules, and our policies, including our Conditions of Use. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US
Asia Supermarket collects identifiers and other personal information that you provide to us, such as when you create a customer account on AsiaSupermarket.net or sign up for an AsiaSupermarket.us account. We also collect information when you participate in surveys or promotions or sign up to receive notifications, newsletters, or other communications from us. Additionally, if you contact us through our Customer Services, such as in connection with an account change or closure issue, we will securely store a record of your request and any personal information that you provide as part of your request. Identification information, such as your name (first, middle, last) and Asia Supermarket membership number
Contact information, such as your mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number

Asia Supermarket processes this information for membership administration and to provide you with the products or services that you have requested, including notification of any problems or other updates, as well as to alert you (under appropriate circumstances with your consent) of any offerings or member benefits that you might have an interest in. We may also use this information to better understand our members’ needs and interests to help tailor our products and services to meet your needs.

We work with third parties, including vendors, product suppliers, and service providers, to acquire data about you. This may include household and demographic information from mailing list providers to communicate with you about new products and services, offers, promotions, and other information. We may also collect personal information in connection with data access or deletion requests submitted by authorized agents on your behalf, or through other publicly available sources.
DATA GENERATED ABOUT YOU
Asia Supermarket uses cookies and other tracking technologies, such as Google Analytics, to automatically collect certain information about you when you interact with our Services. For example, our web servers track various technical details about your site visit, including:
Details about the devices that are used to access our Services (such as the IP address, type of operating system, and web browser)
Dates and times of visits to, and use of, our Services
Information about how our Services are used (such as the content that is viewed or downloaded and how users navigate between our web pages)

We also automatically collect information based on purchasing activities by Smart Savings Card members, including:
Daily and weekly sales information, including customer counts by department and branch ID
The proportion of Smart Savings Card member purchases to total purchase count and overall Smart Savings Card use rate

We use this information for a variety of purposes, including the authentication of members, recording of member preferences and settings, responding to reports of technical issues with our Services, ranking the relevancy and accuracy of the content on our Services, and support of Asia Supermarket’s internal audit and fraud prevention efforts. We also use this information in aggregate form to analyze site traffic and trends to understand what content our members find useful or interesting.

CHILDREN'S DATA
Asia Supermarket’s Services are generally not directed to children, and we do not seek or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. In limited circumstances, Asia Supermarket may promote events or campaigns that are open to all ages. Asia Supermarket requires opt-in parental consent for the collection of children’s personal information.
If we otherwise determine upon collection that a user is under 16, we will not use or retain the information without the parent or guardian's consent. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 16, we will make reasonable efforts to delete such information from our records.
2. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
Asia Supermarket does not sell your information for money. However, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), some information disclosures that are necessary to provide you with personalized ads may be considered a “sale,” even if no money is exchanged. If we determine that there has been a sale of personal information, we will comply with applicable law as to such activity. For example, within the previous twelve (12) months, Asia Supermarket may have disclosed customer e-mail addresses to a marketing platform provider for digital promotional services. In other limited circumstances, we may disclose your information within Asia Supermarket’s family of companies, with our service providers, and as required by-laws, rules, and our policies. If we need to share or otherwise process your information for purposes other than for which the information was originally collected, we will notify and seek your consent as appropriate. Asia Supermarket affiliates and parent company. Asia Supermarket may share customer lists and member account information, including financial information, demographic information, and purchase history data to support internal operational, audit, and reporting requirements.
Service providers that perform services on our behalf, including:
Customer service and ticketing support providers. Asia Supermarket may share customer names, shipping addresses, billing addresses, and purchase histories to support customer-directed inquiries and requests.
Technology providers, including email and web hosting providers, and cloud storage and site monitoring tool providers. Asia Supermarket may disclose member account information, device, and online identifiers, and network activity information to support the operation of our Services, conduct site improvement, and protect against fraud.
Payment, shipping, and order fulfillment vendors. Asia Supermarket may share member account information, including customer names, contact information, financial information, and purchase histories, in addition to location data and other identifiers to facilitate customer orders from intake to delivery and follow-up customer support as appropriate.
Unless prohibited by applicable law, we reserve the right to transfer the information we maintain in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets. If we engage in such a sale or transfer, we will – where required by applicable law – make reasonable efforts to direct the recipient to use your personal information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Notice. Please be advised that for each request, we are also required to verify each requester’s identity, including authorized agents. We may deny a request for access, deletion, or modification if we are unable to verify the requester with a reasonable degree of certainty. WITHDRAWING CONSENT AND OTHER GENERAL OBJECTIONS
